WE WON AN AWARD!

Well, if you didn't check your e-mail, then you haven't heard yet.......
Last night was the Student Activities Banquet and the Chinese Yo-Yo club won *drum roll*............BEST ROOKIE OF THE YEAR AWARD! : which basically means we won award for being one of the best clubs just started this year.
So I'm planning next week we'll meet and have a party, if I can plan one....but I'm not sure I'll talk to George, Joon, and Simon about it. When I get around to it I'll scan the certificate we got for winning this award.

APPLAUD GEORGE AND JOON FOR A GREAT PERFORMANCE! JOON ONLY DROPPED THE YO-YO ONCE!!!!!!!!! YAY! Congrats to George for mastering the 2 yo-yos on one string.

And to clarify there is NO CLUB tomorrow, but if you want to hang out tomorrow, I'll be outside in the front of the school, so look around!

UPDATES~!!

So, I know I haven't updated in a while, because my computer was being crazy. Well there is a club banquet thing next Monday, and me, George, and Simon are going. The banquet is to see who win club awards, I don't know if we'll win any, but I nominated our club for a few.

Ummm...oh yeah, next week there won't be club because it's Earth Day for Sophmores, PSAE for Juniors, and day off for Seniors, it's a really complicated week. I'm guessing we'll resume club the next week, if not I'll e-mail you guys, even so I will probably e-mail you all.

Locker Party!

Well, here's some good news: our club has a locker so we'll be able to access the yo-yos even when George or anyone for that matter can't make it to club, as long as we have the key. So, if you haven't been coming to yo-yo club because we weren't always sure there were going to be yo-yos YOU CAN and SHOULD COME BACK!!! Please! We're actually kind of desperate for people to come again because today we had a record of 5 people come to club, sad, I know. What happened to around 7 or more people showing up???
Well anyways, today we discussed using our funds to buy food and drinks to motivate you guys to come back to club--hopefully if you are reading this you will show up again!! And for those who aren't reading this, well, let's say they don't check their e-mail or have no dedication for this club at all!!!!!!!!!

CLUB TOMORROW!

So if you haven't checked your e-mail, there is yo-yo club tomorrow, yes-tomorrow-the day after T.E.L.L.! PLEASE COME!!!!!! WE NEED PEOPLE TO SHOW UP!!!! It's quite depressing when no one comes or ditches or goes to other clubs that have tons of people in them already!
Hopefully you all had fun at T.E.L.L. today and got into all the classes you signed up for!

So club members.....I was wondering-yes at this hour in the morning 12:45ishAM-what we should do as a club to make people come! because lately, many people haven't been coming and that's NOT good. This club won't survive unless YOU, yes YOU, come to the club and chill with us. At least give me suggestions to make the club better, even though I'm not the club president *cough George cough* should start being more responsible and take action. He probably doesn't even know this site exists, like many of you. So if you are reading this spread the word around.....so I was going to ask Ms. Kessel or George whether we should use our profits from Roots of NT to buy food and stuff...hopefully that will attract more members to come again!!!!!

I know that was long, but I was bored and I feel bad that our club is declining like the economy. So PLEASE COME TO YO-YO CLUB NEXT WEEK! I WILL GET GEORGE TO BRING THE YO-YOS THIS TIME!
Yeah, hopefully you already signed up for T.E.L.L. otherwise you are randomly signed up for classes you don't wanna be in. ok I'm done talking now! *PEACE*

updates....

Well, there was yo-yo club today, but George didn't come, so we didn't have yo-yos. I'm sorry that our club is lacking effort and FUN, so I'll try to think of ways to bring back people to our club.

I really do want Chinese yo-yo club to be successful as a club, but it won't happen if you don't show up. I know some of you have track or sports and that's ok, make sure you come back when sports are over!!!!

T.E.L.L.

Well, apparently George and Simon are doing T.E.L.L. and teaching how to do Chinese Yo Yo, so if you or your friends want to improve yours/their skills at the yo yo, I encourage you to take the class! and besides, it's really fun!
