Spring Break!

Well, I hope all of you Chinese Yo-yo members enjoy your spring break, I'm pretty sure we'll have club the week we get back. So until then, HAVE FUN ON BREAK!!! and tomorrow's hectic school day...

There is NO MANDATORY club meeting tomorrow...

As the title says, since it's the week before Spring Break, there is no mandatory club meeting tomorrow. I know everyone is cramming before spring break, just like their "insane" teachers. So if you can't come to club tomorrow (actually I'm going to call it a gathering tomorrow rather than a club meeting) it's ok, since we have nothing to prepare for.

So if you want to talk and chat and hang with me and my friends (which is basically everyone I know) then come to the scrounge tomorrow, otherwise, have fun doing whatever else you have to do!!!!!

After the Academics

Hey guys! I decided this will be the description of our club in After the Academics:

Ever wanted to be a skilled master? Well, Chinese Yo-Yo club will help you become one with the Chinese yo-yo. We will teach you everything from the basics to expert level. You will be able to participate in International Day, fundraisers, and other activities with Chinese Culture Club. It is all you could imagine: friends, food, fun, and flair! Do it all by joining Chinese Yo-Yo club, where EVERYONE matters!

I just sent it to Mrs. Parks, so it will be approved--unless she asks for changes. I couldn't think of anything else to say, since we are such a new club, so don't criticize me for vagueness.

DIDN'T MISS MUCH!

Well, today was very low key, so if you didn't come you didn't miss much, except for Joon acting like a fool, it was funny!!!! Yeah, that was about it. Thanks for coming if you came, it awfully sweet of you, even if you came late or whatever. So yeah. Not much for me to say, except that Ms. Kessel didn't come, but we didn't need her there, there wasn't much to do, ONLY ONE YO-YO STRING IS USABLE, so yeah.

I just blabbed a whole paragraph.

Basically: WE DIDN'T DO MUCH AT YO YO CLUB, so if you didn't come it's ok.

MEETING TOMORROW!

Yeah, guys, IT'S INGRID!!! So, as the header says, there is a club meeting tomorrow. We won't be doing much, but you can come practice yo-yo and hang out with me and my bros/homies. So yeah, come!!! It'll be fun :)

ROOTS OF NEW TRIER!!!!

guess what guys....we earned $44!!! that's great considering we didn't really sell anything big, like *cough* korean club *cough*. so great job guys!!! i hope you had fun and tried other food, Korean club's food was delicious! Next time, we should do something tastey too!!

Club Updates.....

So, I'm guessing this blog site is partially successful, since not everyone has checked it out, thanks for voting.

There will be Yo-Yo club this Wednesday, we'll organize more Roots of New Trier stuff, and yes, IT'S THIS THURSDAY!!! So come during your free periods to help with the booth!!! I'm bringing soda on Wednesday.....so there's your bribe to come!! ;)

Yeah, so basically what I'm saying is be a dedicated member of yo-yo club!!!
